Finding the right EMDRIA Approved Consultant is one of the most important steps in preparing yourself for competence in EMDR. You want a consultant who is collaborative, nonjudgmental and welcomes questions. You want someone who is up to date on EMDR research, models best practices and is committed to the well being of their clients and consultees.
My style of consultation includes assisting you in finding your own answers while providing various perspectives to assist you in developing your unique vision. At the same time, I will ensure that you are ready to intervene as needed with your clients so you can provide them with the best care possible.
